But sometimes these developers change houses. They decide to leave one company and start working for another for several reasons. A similar thing has happened to one of Sony’s first-party studios.
God of War: Ragnarok’s Gameplay producer joins Nintendo
Hannah Foell acted as the gameplay producer of God of War: Ragnarok. Fans and critics on the other hand were going gaga for her latest project, she apparently decided to shift to Nintendo. Hannah has recently joined Nintendo America as senior manager of partner management.
We must not forget that the game she worked on before joining the Japanese publisher actually dominated The Game Awards 2022. S0 it would be pretty interesting to see how her presence affects Nintendo.
Of course, as a partner manager, she might not be directly involved in a game’s development. But, she would be working with Nintendo to bring more third-party developers to their console Switch.
Before working at Sony’s Santa Monica Studios, she was working at Harmonix Music Systems and was a producer on Rock Band 4. Rock band 4 was a series. This just goes to show she has a varied history in game development.
She made an announcement on her Twitter by saying “I’m so beyond thrilled to join the 3rd party team at Nintendo of America to drive developer and publisher relationships. I can’t wait to get started working with AAA developers to put exciting new experiences in players’ hands.”

The switch has a shortage of big third-party titles
Nintendo makes some really good first-party games. But lately, only most third-party games released on Switch are either ports of old games or re-releases of very old games.
Maybe with Hannah’s presence, there would be some chances. Fans are still awaiting some good third-party games to make it to the hybrid console Switch. Maybe this will finally happen.
