miHoYo released Genshin Impact 2 years ago to the gaming community. The game was an instant hit and is one of the most-played online RPG games. It was nominated for many categories since its inception and has won several titles. The Tap Tap Game Awards, ‘Game of the Year’ title being the biggest among them.

In 2022 also Genshin is making waves. The HoYoverse game was nominated for multiple categories at the 2022 Game Awards. And won the Player’s Voice award. The recognition of the RPG game has not faded. According to a recent report, Genshin was the most discussed game on the microblogging platform Twitter in 2022.

Genshin Impact was the most discussed game on Elon Musk-owned microblogging platform Twitter. The HoYoverse game had some whooping numbers to boast. According to fancensus.com, Genshin Impact has made a tremendous mark on Twitter.

The game had more than 12,500 tweets. Additionally, Genshin had around 3,903,520 retweets as well. These are some gigantic numbers that Genshin can be proud of. Compared to the second place (Final Fantasy XIV), Genshin had more than 1,000,000 retweets.

This is not the only category Genshin found its way into. Genshin Impact was the third most covered game this year according to ICO with more than 20,000 articles. Elden Ring, which was awarded the ‘Game of the Year’ title at the Game Awards 2022, topped this list.

The game was also making waves in the mobile market. Genshin cracked its way into the top 5 games under the category of ‘world consumer spending’, according to Sensor Tower. The other games that were included in the top 5 are Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, Candy Crush Saga, and Roblox.

Genshin Impact is going forward with a strong foot right now. The game has introduced many new regions since its inception. Sumeru is the latest addition to this list. Currently, Genshin has two character banners. One is the much-awaited Scaramouche, who is available as the Wanderer. He is an anemo character with a unique kit.

The other banner is a rerun. Arataki Itto, the geo character, is the second banner that was introduced along with the Wanderer. Soon, Genshin will have a huge update with newer areas to explore and some exciting new character banners.
