Though Jimmy has ventured into other entrepreneurial journeys as well, making content videos on YouTube has always been the primary focus of the internet sensation. But, it does not mean he doesn’t enjoy content on other platforms as well. Now as Emmett Shear is stepping down as the CEO of Twitch, Donaldson has a humble request to YouTube’s rivals.

MrBeast has an interesting request for the new CEO

YouTube is one of the biggest video-sharing platforms in the world right now. And it is home to some very popular celebrities like MrBeast. One another platform that can be considered a rival to YouTube in regard to streaming is Amazon-owned Twitch. The platform boasts a vast genre of streams with many popular partners.

After many years, Emmet Shear, the pioneering figure behind Twitch and its CEO, is stepping down from his position. He played a vital role in the rise of Twitch as a popular platform, and it is unknown who will be stepping in to fill his shoes. But, whoever the new chief executive officer is, MrBeast has a humble request for them.

Though Jimmy does not make content for the Twitch audience, it seems like the star likes to watch some streams in his leisure time on the platform. Donaldson’s request to the new CEO was to remove the unskippable 30 secs ads on the platform. For many Twitch users, this is sometimes truly annoying. That is, the platform runs a 30-second advert when watching streams.

Though this is a revenue-generating method, and people can skip by donating, those who don’t want to do so are forced to watch the advertisement. Jimmy was seen requesting the new CEO to remove this feature.

Jimmy’s requests were met with some interesting comments

The request that Jimmy had towards the Twitch CEO had many talking. Some were seen telling Jimmy to use other means, like ad blockers, to escape watching these ads.

Others were joining hands with Donaldson to make this happen, as they were not big fans of seeing an unskippable ad.

Some were telling him to get Twitch turbo if these ads annoyed them. And as Jimmy already is a millionaire, people think this is the best option.
