Nintendo is going all out with GameCube remasters it seems. They launched the much-acclaimed Metroid Prime remastered for Nintendo Switch earlier this year. It was a beautifully remastered version of the GameCube original, appreciated by every fan out there.

Then the news came that Nintendo is planning a number of more remasters for the Nintendo Switch, chief among them an F-Zero game and the remaining two Metroid Prime games. Now it appears one more contender has been added to this list. That is one of the best Super Mario role-playing games ever released, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

It is considered the best Paper Mario game ever released. The game was met with ground-breaking success upon release, and Nintendo itself has to match this game’s humor and addictive gameplay in its newer games. While they almost touched it with Origami King, they did not quite succeed.

Hence, it would be great if this game actually makes it to the Nintendo Switch as per recent rumors. And it would be even better if this game matched the quality of Metroid Prime Remastered in quality and visuals. That would just make fans go crazy!

What about the other remasters?

From the looks of it, Nintendo has taken a mammoth task into its hands to produce so many remasters for the Nintendo Switch at once. The only question that comes to mind is, “What platform would those games launch on?”

Nintendo Switch might soon be replaced by a successor, and 2023 might even be its last year as Nintendo’s primary console. So, if Nintendo is going to release so many remasters on Switch, when do they have time to do so? They already have a huge game releasing, and they would not want to take attention away from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
