Over the years, online content creation has become a widely recognized occupation in the community. As the popularity of streaming continues to rise, streamers have a few options when it comes to choosing a platform for their content. Not to mention, Twitch and YouTube are the most popular online creation platforms.

Many popular streamers like Ninja, Pokimane, Shroud, xQc, and others stream on Twitch. Besides that, Twitch is also famous for various controversies between popular streamers. Interestingly, the Pokimane-JiDion drama was the first Twitch controversy of 2022. All this started back when JiDion raided Poki’s stream and his viewers started harassing her.

Owing to his actions, Twitch permanently banned JiDion from creating content on the platform. Not to mention, it ruined the creator’s image and reputation; moreover, he had to face hate from Poki’s fans online. Fortunately, JiDion and Poki later ended their beef after he apologized for his action on Twitter.

JiDion opens up about the Twitch ban and Pokimane controversy

Impaulsive is a weekly podcast hosted by Logan Paul and Mike Majlak. This week’s guest was JiDion and Logan introduced him as the first member of the ‘Prime Squad’. On the podcast, he revealed to Logan’s crew that he is planning to retire at the age of 25. Therefore, in order to earn money after retirement, he is planning to become a full-time streamer.

He also mentions that he believes that streamers have the caliber to upload a lot of content on the platform just by streaming regularly. After discussing his future plans, JiDion himself addressed how the Twitch ban and Poki controversy changed his life. He said, “I always leak sh*t  like that’s probably my worst thing.”

JiDion further added, ” After the Pokimane situation I realised I was just like okay you know what. I need to you know not censor myself but I need to like think before I speak. Sometimes I just say sh*t. I just like something pops up in my head like in all my videos I just say whatever pops up in my head.”

After hearing JiDion’s view, Logan tried to warn him about the consequences of streaming. Furthermore, Mike also mentions that according to him ‘Is this Okay to say’ mentality sometimes ruins the creator’s creativity.
