Sony has recently announced the PlayStation State of Play on September 14. The whole world is hyped up, and amidst this hype, Insomniac Games announces another treat for the fans.

As things stand, we will be getting some new updates regarding the highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.  This PS5 exclusive that releases on October 20th could raise the excitement bar with some of the latest updates.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 preview events in Los Angeles and London

Insomniac Games has recently organized a press conference in London and Los Angeles for the preview of this highly anticipated title. The company invited a ton of content creators and the press to get their hands on the game to get a first impression.

The company left no stone unturned to immerse the media personalities in the Spider-Man world. They designed press areas as locations for the game, including a lounge room inspired by Coney Island with playable carnival games and a photo op. There was also a Kraven-themed room featuring a red carpet, knight armor, and a throne, as well as a room inspired by Dr. Connor’s lab.

Insomniac Games has also confirmed that the new updates, further announcements, screenshots of real-time game footage, and potentially an exciting new gameplay footage will be revealed on September 15 at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET, along with the details of the event. After these reveals, the media will be able to express their first impressions of the game.

The story doesn’t end here. Spider-Man fans might be treated to another trailer, but not in this case. Based on credible insider sources, they can expect a new trailer at the PlayStation State of Play event, which will take place on September 14, although this event is going to focus mainly on titles from indie developers and VR titles.

The company already revealed an outstanding gameplay trailer earlier, which featured the new symbiote suit, Kraven, and the instant switching between two playable characters.

The whole world is buzzing with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The first game of the Spider-Man series went on to become one of the best PS4 exclusives of all time. Let’s see if this PS5 exclusive can carry on the legacy of its predecessor. Now, all eyes are on September 15.
