As MrBeast continues growing at an astonishing rate, it can be said that if this momentum keeps on going, then it won’t be too long until he manages to reach the highest peak on YouTube. 

Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, is one of the biggest names in the online content creation scene in the world. He recently surpassed PewDiePie and won the crown of the highest subbed independent channel on the YouTube platform. He currently has around 112 Million+ subscribers and billions of views on his channel. 

YouTube was initially advertised as a video-sharing platform for the common people. There was a time when the website was dominated by creative individuals uploading their homemade videos on a variety of topics. But as the platform evolved, the focus shifted from individuals to massive corporate companies.

Currently, the biggest channel on YouTube is a channel run by T-Series, an Indian Music record label and a film production company. T-Series has around 230 Million subscribers. Followed by Cocomelon, which is another channel run by a company called Moonbug Entertainment Ltd. It is a channel that makes nursery rhymes for kids. Cocomelon has around 147 Million Subscribers at the time of writing. 

Will MrBeast ever surpass Cocomelon and T-series? 

Though T-Series and Cocomelon have a huge number advantage over Jimmy, with the rate of growth that MrBeast has, it can be expected that there will be a day when MrBeast won’t just be the biggest independent channel, but the biggest channel all over the platform.

On Reddit, user u/michael14375 posted a detailed chart with the growth rate of MrBeast in comparison to T-Series and Cocomelon. In the chart, the stats clearly indicate Jimmy’s growth is much higher than the current corporate leaders of the platform. With the stats calculated that, if MrBeast continues to hold this rate of growth, then in the early stages of 2026, MrBeast could be the king of YouTube. 

According to the calculation, the earliest meeting point between Jimmy and T-Series will be on October 30, 2025. On that point, both of the channels will have around 308 million subs. At the same time, Cocomelon would be far behind, with only 225 Million subscribers.

So in the end, all the fans can do is hope Jimmy’s growth continues at the current pace, which won’t be shocking, to say the least, and become the crown king of YouTube. Given MrBeast’s pace of growth, it can also be expected by him to defy this stat and grab the crown even early.
