It’s been a hell of a time for the American streamer IShowSpeed lately. First meeting with his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, the soccer superstar, after several failed attempts, then going on to support him in all his pre-season friendlies. And eventually meeting up with American media personality Kim Kardashian and another soccer superstar from Brazil, Neymar Junior.
But then suddenly he was diagnosed with a severe infection, reaching 19 million YouTube subscribers amidst all these, and then after all of this coming back home. Oooh! What a rollercoaster ride! Yes, after being in stable condition, Speed is finally coming back home. Let’s dive in and explore the happenings.
What Really Happened with IShowSpeed in Japan?

Daren Watkins Junior, aka IShowSpeed, was recently hospitalized in Japan. A few days before being hospitalized, Speed traveled from the USA all the way to Japan to support his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, in his club Al-Nassr’s pre-season friendly against PSG. He then went on to meet Kim Kardashian and her kids. Speed also got an opportunity to meet with Neymar Junior, and the American YouTuber made the most of it. It was really a crazy interaction between two fun-loving personalities.

But after having a really good time, Speed’s week didn’t seem to end on a good note. At the weekend, he was taken to the emergency room of a hospital in Japan. At first, it looked like an accident that Speed came across. But it wasn’t an accident, as Speed’s cameraman Slipz reveals what actually happened.
IShowSpeed: The Ups and Downs
After some primary checkups and tests, doctors revealed that Speed was diagnosed with a severe sinus infection. His eyes got swollen, and his condition looked really bad. He was also warned that if not treated properly, this infection could lead to much worse meningitis. Although proper treatment was started, there were no fatal or severe dangers to his health.

It’s been a treat for all the fans that, after being admitted to the hospital for over a week, Speed has now finally recovered from the sinus infection. His recent photos surfacing on the web clearly show that he has been almost cured, as the huge swelling in the eye has reduced.

Now, as things stand, Speed will reportedly come back home after a couple of days, as confirmed by one of his close friends.
