Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, a supremely popular figure in the world of content creation, recently appeared on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast and revealed how he actually became the ‘King of YouTube’.
However, as expected, the journey to the top is never a straightforward route. For years, Jimmy made quality content for his viewers without getting much out of it. As per MrBeast, the quality of the content is everything.
While talking about his content, MrBeast notes, “We spent 24 hours in deserted Island, and I don’t know… the content wasn’t really there. It was kinda hot, so we were really miserable, we were not like in a funny mood. So literally 2 days later we just went back out and redid it, present 24 hours on a deserted Island. So sometimes we are like, if I don’t think the content is good enough, we just refilm it and stuff like that.

“If I don’t think something is like good and the best we can do. I have no problem killing the video, even if we spent a million dollars on that.”
This actually shows how devoted and committed MrBeast is to his work. Cutting out the entire video that has cost millions of dollars in production is an extremely painful decision and, definitely not every content creator can go through with a decision like that and generally back out. But not Jimmy Donaldson.
Truly, his quest to be the best knows no limits!

With over 91.4 million subscribers on YouTube, Jimmy is unarguably one of the most loved social media stars currently.
For the most part, MrBeast discussed the various obstacles he faced while pursuing his only dream, YouTube. The passion for creating content for the red platform never died despite getting no success in the initial stage.
