Sony has been doing a great job with PlayStation exclusives lately. With games like Spiderman, The Last of Us II, Death Stranding, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, and God of War: Ragnarok, they have already proven how they are focused on providing players with immersive experiences.

And with all the announcements they have made, and with God of War: Ragnarok released, we have a lot to look forward to in the future too. So let us talk about some PlayStation exclusives that we are excited about.

Insomniac is making the Ultimate Wolverine Game

To many PlayStation 5 owners, it was a monumental moment when Insomniac games announced that they were developing a Wolverine game for PlayStation 5. And with every passing day; the excitement keeps elevating.
Now we know very well that Insomniac Games understands Marvel properties very well. They have proven it with Spiderman and Spiderman Miles Morales. So, there’s hardly any doubt that they would do justice to Wolverine.

But what makes us so excited about Wolverine? What is so special about it? Wolverine is a very different character from Spiderman. He is agile, but he stays grounded while in combat, and he has no way of climbing those high-rise buildings. He is sure to have a distinctive move set, with games like Sunset Overdrive and Ratchet and Clank Rift apart. Insomniac has also made it pretty evident that they know how to make characters without wall-crawling abilities fun to control.

Of course, it is hard to talk about a Wolverine game without talking about his claws. The lethal nature of his weapons also means the game might end up being more violent than Spiderman. Reminds us of that 2009 Wolverine game that was developed by Raven Software. It had a mature rating thanks to all that violence in it. We wonder if Insomniac took the same route. Of course, it would mean limiting their audience, but it would be a faithful portrayal of the character.

Plenty More to Look Forward to

It is not as if Wolverine is the only PlayStation exclusive we are super excited about. It is just that Wolverine has us a bit more curious. Other than this, there are plenty of PlayStation 5 exclusive games on the way that have us excited. Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy VI, Forspoken, Naughty Dog’s new Multiplayer game.
