A few days ago, Kai Cenat got banned from Twitch for passing out after consuming edibles on the stream. But the Twitch sensation is now back in action, and that too with a bang. His fans are going to have a great time in the month of February, as it would be full of action from the 21-year-old streamer.
Kai Cenat no longer requires an introduction, as he has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the streaming scene. He is one of the most well-known streamers, and he was once the most subscribed Twitch streamer. Last year, Streamy Awards named him “Streamer of the Year” for his amazing content on stream.

The 21-year-old uploaded a nearly three-minute-long skit video on his Twitter account on January 31. In the video, Kai wakes up from his sleep, and someone in the room, possibly his assistant, informs him that he would be streaming for the next 30 days straight. So, this video was to announce his subathon, which he also mentioned after the recent Twitch ban.

Subathon is a combination of two words: subscriber and marathon. So, a subathon is simply a stream that continues as long as people continue to subscribe. The trend of the subathon came into popularity when Ludwig Ahgren did a 31-day-long subathon in 2021. But the record for the longest subathon belongs to Emilycc, who did a subathon for over a year.
Unlike Ludwig and Emily, Kai’s subathon has a set time limit. His subathon would last 30 days, starting on February 1 and ending on March 2. Those who want to watch this month-long subathon can do so on his official Twitch account. Further, the 21-year-old has titled this new 30 days initiative ‘Mafaiathon’.
How did his fans react to this announcement?
The fans and fellow content creators filled the comments section of this announcement video with compliments. They are eagerly looking forward to this 30-day subathon, as they believe it would be packed with entertaining content. They are not wrong to think so, since Kai Cenat is currently one of the most entertaining streamers. Let’s have a look at some of the fan reactions.
