Only a month ago, Kai announced his mafiathon where he promised to stream for 30 consecutive days. In this long streaming season, Kai featured unique content one after the other, and his community returned the effort in full force. With hoards of fan subs and gift subs, Kai broke the previous record set by Ludwig, acquiring over 300,000+ active subscribers.

After this historical achievement, Kai received positive words from many big-name names, including rap sensations, Drake and Snoop Dogg. Both called him on his live stream to congratulate him. Snoop Dogg offered to feature him in his ‘hotbox’ if Kai manages to pull up to his “spot in California”

Drake also took Kai’s side after he broke the record. The Canadian rapper urged the platform of Twitch to send Kai $50 Million to keep him ‘motivated’. This could have been a subtle hint at other big streamers’ complaints about Twitch not offering enough compensation for them to keep streaming on the platform.

He even threw a jab at twitch by saying, “Twitch now pay the man before you lose another record breaker.” After establishing his record, Ludwig left Twitch and became an exclusive creator on YouTube. He warned Twitch if they don’t want to repeat the same mistake they should pay Kai what he deserves.
