The much-awaited collaboration between Tomb Raider and Call of Duty is almost here now. Ever since Activision confirmed it with an official announcement, fans have been extremely hyped, to say the least. After all, their favorite legendary female gaming icon is going to appear in their beloved FPS action franchise. One can simply call it a double delight!

While everyone was aware of the fact that a crossover was happening, no details were available over its date of release – until now. Finally, we have got a crucial intel, straight from the devs, on Lara Croft’s arrival in Modern Warfare II.

Thanks to a blog from Activision, ahead of Season 5 Reloaded, the launch date has been confirmed now. Lara Croft’s Operator bundle is coming to Modern Warfare II on September 9, 2023. “Experience the legendary adventurer, famous archeologist, and ultimate expert in the fields of archery, dual pistols, and other small-arms combat”, reads the blog description.

In Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, users will be able to purchase her bundle for 2,400 COD Points. This means they will need to spend an amount of $19.99 in order to have Lara’s playable character in Multiplayer and Warzone.

Speaking of its contents, the bundle will offer multiple rewards to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II players. They will get three weapon blueprints: a version of the new melee weapon called ‘Ice Axe’, the ‘Mythic Defender’ Submachine Gun, and Lara’s signature ‘Mach-5’ dual pistols. The latter will be based on the new sidearm coming with the mid-season update. There will be a stylish, ‘Play for Sport’, Finishing Move as well.

Moreover, the bundle will also provide the ‘Tom Buggy’ vehicle skin for the Chop Top, a Loading Screen, an Emblem, and a Sticker. Oh, and players will be able to use Lara’s Operator in 2023’s Modern Warfare III as well, thanks to the Carry Forward feature.
