One of the best parts about the franchise is the way it creates its characters. With their protagonists and their companions, and villains with rich backstories, Assassin’s Creed has no shortage of good characters. It’s no wonder why one of these characters is coming back to play a bigger role. In Assassin’s Creed Jade, developers confirmed one of the playable characters will be Wei Yu.

For those who do not remember Wei Yu, it might be helpful to revisit Assassin’s Creed 2. The game had Ezio go through the tombs of legendary Assassins over the years. Wei Yu is one of them. His statue with the spear can be seen in the game.
