It’s not a common sight to see a PlayStation exclusive making its debut on rival platforms. But this time, fans will be delighted to know that Bugsnax is finally coming to the Xbox as well as the Nintendo Switch.
Yes, that’s absolutely right. The amazing first-person adventure title Bugsnax is releasing on the Nintendo Switch later in April. Along with its launch on non-PlayStation consoles, it will also offer the new expansion, The Isle of Bigsnax.

Bugsnax on the Nintendo Switch will be a fun experience for sure!
For those still not aware of the game, somehow, Bugsnax is a 2020 title in which players collect bugs. Simply put, they traverse Snaktooth Island in order to capture a variety of Bugsnax using multiple contraptions. In total, there are 100 species of bugs available for the players to capture.
After successfully catching them, they need to feed them to the local Grumpuses. The latter then transforms their bodies on the basis of the specific variety of Bugsnax they eat.
The game was initially revealed during a PlayStation 5 Livestream event in June 2020. It was then released for the PS5 and PS4 platforms as an exclusive. But now, it won’t be the case anymore since Xbox and Nintendo Switch players will also get a chance to enjoy it as well.

Upon its debut on these new consoles, the game will also include the next expansion update called The Isle of Bigsnax. It will unveil a fresh playable area along with more creatures to collect. Bugsnax will cost $24.99 on the Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Steam when it arrives on April 28, 2022. Moreover, it will also make its way to the Xbox Game Pass on the Xbox, PC, and Cloud.

In other news, Nintendo Switch fans are waiting for brand new launches later in 2022. When it comes to the most anticipated projects, their eyes are set on the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The latter will be the first entry in the ninth generation of the Pokemon gaming franchise.
