Starting a new family seems to be the new trend among online influencers around the world. Previously, the former king of YouTube, PewDiePie shared that he and his wife Marzia are expecting a child, now with a Twitter post, streamer Valkyrae shared that she is planning to adopt a child of her own.
Rachell Hofstette aka Valkyrae is one of the biggest and most significant streamers in the world. She is the co-owner of the esports organization, 100 thieves. After migrating from Twitch to YouTube, Valkyrae has become the most-watched female streamer on the platform ever since 2020.
Being such a massive personality in the streaming scene as well as an owner of a huge org like 100 Thieves, Rachell in many instances has shared that she has a hard time managing time. That is why all her friends as well as fans were very surprised when she shared that soon she will be taking responsibility for another person’s life, but to help her in this gigantic decision, her mother will be sharing the custody of the kid and also help “raising them”.

Valkyrae adopting her first baby
On March 7, 2023, Valkyrae posted on her Twitter, “My mom and I are considering adopting a baby! She will be the one raising them and I would be financially caring for them; the idea of having another little sibling feels unreal. does anybody reading this have experience with adoption/been adopted? what was the experience like?”
Many of her fellow creators and friends flocked to the replies to express their thoughts. Among them, renowned streamer Myth, who was also adopted in his childhood shared some heartfelt advice to the young soon-to-be parent, Valkyrae. He advised her to make it clear to the child as early as possible, that they are adopted.
