When the news of Adin Ross’ ban from the Amazon-owned platform surfaced on social media, fans speculated the reason to be the streamer’s use of slurs and controversial statements during his interactions. The American streamer had signed a deal with Kick immediately after getting a shutdown on Twitch. Besides the move on a tangent, there was no official response given by the streamer on the speculations. Now, appearing in a podcast, the streamer answered the much-hyped question.

Previously, Adin Ross has stated that no reason was provided for the sudden ban. But in a candid podcast interview with Full Send Podcast, the man revealed the actual reason behind the whole controversy. The latter pointed out that Twitch gave him an indefinite suspension for having Kick Chat open in the corner while he was streaming since it wasn’t being regulated. A Twitter user shared a glimpse of the revelation on the platform. 

Adin Ross quoted, “Now I can finally say what the f**k I want to say. I got indefinitely suspended from Twitch because my Kick chat box was in the top right. And dude, they never ban anyone over that sh*t. They banned me for unmoderated control of our chat. But that’s so stupid.”

Calling out the Amazon-based streaming platform, Adin Ross coined the ban justification as “stupid.” He went on to criticize the policies of the platform claiming them to be biased and non-creator friendly. During the rift, fans had supported the streamer calling the management’s decision unfair. The streamer also pointed out how other streamers have gotten away with the same thing. According to the candid confession, the latter had also received a threatening phone call from a senior Twitch executive a few days before the ban.
