This 2020 video game took inspiration from famous game shows like Takeshi’s Castle, Wipeout, It’s a Knockout, and a classic tag game British Bulldog. Moreover, Epic Games acquired this game in 2021 and, seeing its popularity, turned it into a fee-play. However, the game has some content, like game passes, which will require players to spend some real cash.
In June 2022, the game became free-to-play. Moreover, the developers release it on Xbox and Nintendo Switch. As soon as the game went free, more players joined the video game. Also, there is a rise of lots of Fall Guys Tournaments.
Disguised Toast wins a Fall Guys Tournament
Famous American YouTube gamer, Ludwig Anders Ahgren, is renowned for live streaming video games. Since Fall Guys went free, Ludwig decided to host a tournament with a winning prize of $30,000.
Various gamers participated in the tournament, including Twitch streamers, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang, and Danny ‘Shiphtur’ Le. The Twitch duo made it to the final, where the duo had to face a team of three in the Grab a Tail challenge.
As soon as the round began, Toast took the tail from the opponent team’s player, daddyjones518304. After that, it was Toast who just ran around with the tail, escaping from the three opponents. Eventually, he single-handedly won the last round to win the tournament and bag $30,000. An excited Toast started shouting, “We are the best, we are the best! We are the best!”
