Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has been in the news for endless reasons since its global launch last year. Despite being a blockbuster release in terms of breaking sales records, it has witnessed many unfavorable situations. Players have faced issues while trying to enter online matches. Plus, they are also unhappy with the type of content revealed. Especially when it comes to the Multiplayer modes of this premium AAA title. Multiplayer has become a subject of debate among users these days. It’s probably because of how the developers have treated the paid version compared to Warzone 2, the free-to-play battle royale.
Many people have called out Activision for ignoring Modern Warfare II’s Multiplayer in the last few months. Simply because the base title is the version they have actually paid for. In fact, many of them were so eager for the game before its release that they opted for the Vault Edition. Hence, they eventually spent more money, at $100, than the regular $70. However, the game they paid for has little to offer, especially in terms of having an enjoyable Multiplayer setup. It is just not working for the players whatsoever. Many feel cheated as it has been nothing less than a disappointment.

It’s already known that Season 2 of MWII and Warzone 2 are arriving in the next few days. As always, the devs recently dropped a tweet while trying to generate hype for the upcoming content. Here’s the tweet from the game’s official account:
The new Personal Watercraft vehicle is like an ATV on the water 🌊

The tweet mentioned that Season 2 will feature new watercraft vehicles to provide more advantage during aquatic battles. Later, publisher Activision Blizzard’s main account quoted this tweet while showing an excitement for the incoming vehicles in the next update. “imagine the disrespect of getting taken out by someone on one of those things”, read the tweet.

Not to mention that this specific tweet was enough to outrage the already annoyed players. Activision came up with a response bound to backfire on them eventually. As expected, most Call of Duty fans wasted no time criticizing the publisher. That’s because of the treatment it has given to the paid Multiplayer compared to Warzone 2, which is free. “imagine the disrespect ya’ll did to multiplayer,” wrote an angry user.
