As it happens, Activision has just announced a virtual 100k marathon event in Call of Duty Warzone. Not only will this event support a special cause, but it will also get the participants an exciting chance to bag some intriguing in-game rewards!?
Call of Duty Warzone is a popular battle royale game, as most of you may know. When it comes to hosting awareness campaigns, Activision has been a notable contributor. Being a free-to-play shooter game and accessible across popular platforms, Warzone?s battlegrounds are perfect to promote a charity event, like the Warzone Call of Duty Veteruns event.?

The ongoing Veteruns event is supposedly the first in-game charity race, hosted as a result of a collaboration among Activision-Blizzard, Call of Duty Endowment, and Twitter. The event went live on May 26 and will end on June 2.?
For every 10 KM run, a player completes in-game during the event, Activision will allocate $1 as a part of a $1 million total donation. The total contribution per player can be up to $10. To raise the maximum contribution, a player has to complete a 100KM marathon.?
How to participate in the Call of Duty Warzone 100K Veteruns Event?
Participating in the Call of Duty 100K Veteruns Event is as easy as just running in-game! As you complete milestones (For example, 25KMS), you?ll be receiving exciting rewards as entitled. Completing 25Kms will get you a rare bronze titled Calling Card, followed by an epic gold at 50KMS and a legendary gold at 100 Kms.???

Activision-Blizzard has big plans for the veteruns
Among all the hustle to win prizes, we must not forget the cause of the event. Call of Duty Endowment has managed to provide 100K veteruns with employment, as vouched by the organization. In fact, official reports stated that they managed to reach the milestone two years before their schedule.?
