The sequel of the beloved Last of Us gaming series, was a controversial one. While many loved Part II, some hated the approach writers took in the story. Although fans have divided opinions on most things in the LoU Part- II, many will agree that the new protagonist/antagonist introduced in the sequel, Abby, is nothing but terrifying.
Played by actress Laura Bailey, Abigail “Abby” Anderson, is a soldier of the Washington Liberation Front. She plays one of the most significant roles in the second part of the story. Ever since her debut fans had mixed reactions mostly because of her involvement against the main character of the first game.

After the grand success of the first season of the television series, HBO greenlit the continuation of the series. It has been confirmed that the upcoming seasons will be adapting the story from the second game, which will be heavily focused on Ellie and Abby’s storyline. So far, no information about the cast for the character’s television version has been disclosed.

On Twitter, the developers of the original games, Naughty Dog Studios, shared a cryptic tweet. The caption only said, “Abby is coming.” with a custom picture of a muscular arm holding a hammer. It was blatantly obvious that the arm belong to Abigail. The comments were flooded with speculations and fan theories.

Why season 2 will be much more complex?
In a recent interview, the co-producer and writer of the Last of Us show, Craig Mazin shares that after working in the first season with Neil Druckmann (the original creator of the franchise) they have gained a lot of experience towards making the process much “more efficient” which in term will let them create something much more complex.

“Our process of kicking the tires on everything, our process of agreeing that no matter how much we disagree, we will find a way to agree. There’s no veto power here. No one gets his way, it’s ‘we will figure it out.” Said Craig Mazin, “I think we will be a little more efficient in our process, which means we’ll have more time to do some more complicated things.”
