Since the last few years, the usual format has seen numerous devs, from different studios under Activision, working together on one major COD project. This is quite normal, given the massive scale of games that demand a larger workforce in various departments. However, it seems like an anonymous studio has been involved with the making of the publisher’s upcoming premium in 2023.

An insider known as CoD_Persues on X (formerly Twitter) recently shared a post. To everyone’s surprise, it claimed that there’s a non-Activision studio that has reportedly worked on some of the remastered maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

This unexpected piece of information may have ignited the curiosity of the fans. Furthermore, it will be interesting to see a response from Activision on this matter going forward. If the aforementioned leak is correct, we may see the reveal of this mysterious developing studio sooner than later.
