This horse might not be the exact child of Loki, but a reference. When Kratos visit the Kelpie before the final mission, Mimir questioned him why he came here. It might be a reference to what happened between a horse and Loki shape-shifted a mare, which eventually led to the birth of Sleipnir.

The game might have also referenced Loki and Angrboda’s son Hel from myth, who would also become the ruler of Helheim. In the game, Mimir and Kratos promised the current ruler of Helheim to find someone to replace her in the future. Moreover, the game revealed that the ruler of Helheim is called Hel. So it’s possible Atreus and Angrboda will have a son, who will become “Hel”.
