These monsters inevitably made their way to the television series and the impressions that the actors had, seeing them for the first time, was interesting, to say the least. When asked about the Clicker,Pedro expressed that even though he likes scary stuff, these freaks were “a little too much” for him.
“You were very grossed out by them,” seeing her co-actor barf with disgust, the young Bella Ramsey exclaimed. Her opinions on these monsters were a little different compared to Pedro’s. She said, “I found them sort of beautiful. That’s what was scary, actually. I think the beauty that they had, that was what was terrifying.”
Pedro described the clickers as “a monstrous, floral nightmare”. Ramsey added to Pedro’s take, saying, “The whole fungus, [the] Cordyceps infection, is based on science. Theoretically, it’s possible, and that’s what’s also terrifying.”
