Apparently, the Sherrif’s office confirmed that Ken was riding a snowmobile on January 2, 2023, around 2 PM. He even shared a few glimpses of it before, letting fans know about his next adventure. However, his dream turned into disaster in seconds as his vehicle suddenly flipped and landed on top of him as he drove past a steep slope. Officials then announced him dead right at the scene as the injuries looked untreatable. And then, the whole world mourned the passing of this ice legend. On Monday 2, 2023, the Utah Sheriff’s Office pronounced Ken Block’s passing around 7 PM. They released a statement saying, “Mr. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “We are saddened to hear of the loss of Kenneth and our hearts are with his family and friends so deeply affected.”

Ken Block was not just an ordinary rally car driver but an absolute legend. The world knew him for his adventurous personality, his passion for cars, motocross, skateboards, and action sports. Vividly, Block extended his skateboarding interests by starting a shoe company DC. He partnered with Damon Way in 1994 to what we know today as DC shoes. However, he sold the company in 2004, moving on to other things.
