Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest addition to the well-known Pokemon series. Game Freak went for the open-world gameplay with the newest addition. Unlike past Pokemon games, it doesn’t have a linear storyline but the player creates their own path. There are three game paths to follow in-game: Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends.

Path of Legends is one of the game’s paths where players have to take on five Pokemon who grew to a gigantic size after consuming the mysterious Herba Mystica. Players aren’t just limited to fighting these Titan Pokemon, they can also catch them and use them on their Pokemon journey.

Players can catch all five Titan Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. But it is not an easy task as they are uncatchable when players first encounter them in their Titan form. However, when they are encountered again, those Pokemon would be restored to their original size.

Players can simply catch these ex-Titan Pokemon using Poke Balls and later add them to their party. Further, they can check the summary for the Titan badge to see if they are former Titans. So let’s find out how to catch them.

5. Klawf (The Stony Cliff Titan)

The first Titan Pokemon that most players usually take on is the Stony Cliff Titan, which is none other than a gigantic Klawf. The players need to reencounter those Titans to catch them. However, they won’t be gigantic anymore but the standard size.

The player would find this Klawf roaming around South Province Area Three. They can simply try throwing a Poke Ball at this former Stony Cliff Titan. But if it doesn’t work, try throwing the ball after lowering its HP by using Water or Grass-type Pokemon against it.

4. Bombirdier (The Open Sky Titan)

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players need to go look around the northwest of West Province Area One Central Pokemon Center to encounter the Open Sky Titan, Bombirdier, once again. But the best place would be to look at the beach nearby. Or, this Flying/Dark-type can also be found flying around this region.

Players can follow the same trick they did for Klawf. First, they should try catching it by simply throwing a Poke Ball. If it fails, then the battle would be the only option. Players should use FairyElectricIce, and Rock-type Pokemon to lower their HP and then throw another ball to catch it.

3. Orthworm (The Lurking Steel Titan)

After catching Bombirdier, players should move towards the east of the East Province Area to catch the Lurking Steel Titan, Orthworm. Mostly, players will encounter this former Titan buried in the deserts there. They just need to get closer and encounter a battle.

Players can try using a Heavy Ball at the ex-Titan Orthworm instead of the regular Poke Ball. This unique Poke Ball makes it easier to catch heavy Pokemon. But if it doesn’t work, one can use Fire or Fighting-type Pokemon to lower its HP and try catching it in a ball again.

2. Great Tusk & Iron Treads (The Quaking Earth Titans)

Depending on which version of the game they have, the Quaking Earth Titan might differ for the player. Those playing Scarlet would get a Great Tusk, and those on Violet would get Iron Threads. Players would need to travel to Asado Desert to catch these Pokemon.

Because Great Tusk and Iron Threads are both heavy Pokemon, players can try catching them with a Heavy Ball. But upon failing to do so, they can try using Water-type to weaken both of them before catching them.

1. Tatsugiri (The False Dragon Titans)

Pokemon players should go around the Eastern Casseroya Lake if they want to catch the False Dragon Titan, Tatsugiri. This Dragon/Water-type Pokemon comes in three different colors. But the former Titan Tatsugiri is the one that is orange in color.

Players can use Dive Ball to catch this False Dragon Tita. After all, this ball works the best against Water-type Pokemon, and Tatsugiri’s secondary type is Water. However, if the player is unable to catch it on the first try, there is always the option to battle it out. Players should try using Fairy or Grass-type Pokemon to weaken it before trying to catch it with a Poke Ball again.
