A record in the streaming biz is no joke. It is in fact one of the most difficult things to achieve. But for a couple of dedicated Kick streamers, it was a dream come true. Currently, there is a massive fight going on between Twitch and Kick. Though the former is not so vocal about the issue, streamers of the green platform are occasionally trying to push their streaming home above the Amazon-owned space.
The latest attempt to bolster Kick as the tallest podium became literal in every sense. Streamers even scaled Mt. Everest to make sure that this incredible record-breaking feat becomes a reality.

Records and streamers are a deadly mix. Through the course of time, we have witnessed records being broken online through some insane challenges. MrBeast breaking PewDiePie’s viewer record with an insane render of Squid Game is one of the many. Now, Kick itself can boast a unique feat of its own thanks to Ice Poseidon.
According to the latest updates by the content creator, he and his buddies scaled up the biggest mountain for their beloved platform. Yes, you hear it right; he climbed Mt. Everest, and it was for the green streaming service!
He and his buddies climbed the icy mountain and reached the 18,000 feet mark to do the insane. Soon after they reached the peak point, Ice Poseidon placed a Kick flag there, establishing the presence of the up-and-rising platform on the biggest mountain in the world.
We made it! We managed to stream 89 percent of mount everest base camp climb, sadly no service at the top, but we planted a giant kick flag on top of the highest base camp in the world 18k feet high! First streamers to do so and a great accomplishment. Yes, the kick flag is there pic.twitter.com/GvSPHNrxK1

If that was not enough, he has recorded almost 89 percent of the journey. Unfortunately, the streamer company was not able to record the full feat due to technical difficulties caused by the lack of service at that latitude. Nevertheless, he has achieved one insane record, and his dedication is praiseworthy.

Ice Poseidon opened up about how this was the most difficult task that he has done in his entire life. He even joked that his action of placing the Kick flag on top of Mt. Everest should be more than enough to make him get nominated for the IRL Streamer award.
The icy mountain climb has shocked the internet
Ice Poseidon and his decision to climb Mt. Everest with the Kick flag was a shocker for netizens. They were showering high praises on the streamer and applauded him for achieving such a remarkable feat.

Surely this has to be the most dedicated thing someone had done for a streaming platform. Sort of falls along the same lines as Ludwig getting a Twitch tattoo for a philanthropic deed.
