But it seems like we already have a winner with over 1.2 million hours of gameplay.

For those wondering if the math doesn’t fit right, no, the player is not a time traveler. After the statistics went viral across social media, the player gave clarification that these numbers were a result of a glitch. According to the source, the glitch occurred when the player was syncing data between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A lucky glitch, nevertheless!

Aside from the fact that the statistics were the result of a glitch, fans were quite thrilled with the idea of a player playing Fortnite back when the early evolution of computers had begun! 

A user took a hilarious dig on the glitch as they stated, “bro was playing fortnite before the lightbulb was invented.” The light bulb was invented in 1879, which still keeps the player 2 years ahead according to Fortnite statistics. 

Another user wrote, “146 years of playtime. 0 chicken dinners.” No sources to confirm if chicken dinner celebrations were a thing back then.

A player is confident as they work out the math and suggest how the numbers are actually possible. “Simple.. He’s been playing 24/7 for roughly 146 years..,” the comment reads. Responding to which another player wrote, “He’s been playing the game since before it was an idea.”

This is the part where the Hulk says, “Time travel!” A Fortnite player might be a living example. “Clearly he’s been traveling back in time to log more time..,” a user has a theory.
