What makes The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom great, is the thought of returning to the Hyrule we fell in love with in The Breath of the Wild and enjoying the thrill of discovery and true adventure. Nintendo is fully aware of this love its fans have for Zelda. So much so that there are clues and riddles from both games crossing over. Maybe that’s why we enjoyed it so much and now they have done it again in their latest trailer.

The Tears of the Kingdom teaser revealed a nugget that we noticed and compared to what we already knew about the Legend of Zelda universe; the vast area that Breath of the Wild granted us access to, this is far from being overlooked and deserves praise.

The most anticipated game for Nintendo Switch at the moment is certainly The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which is just a few months away from release and has fans excited. As a result of this, several speculations are circulating that hint at the reappearance of an enemy from the previous game.

A storm with greenish lightning is seen, extremely different in form and design from the ones in Breath of the Wild, over a large landscape with little detail. In reality, if we tweak the photograph slightly and reduce the fog effect, we won’t have to go far to find the Mountain of Death which can be seen in the distance.

One of the more interesting enemies, on the other hand, is barely visible at all. We see a bridge over Hylia’s lake, with a vampiric figure sticking out in a frame.

There appears to be a spiked tail and three heads on fire, which leads us to believe that we will meet an old enemy in this installment Gleeok from the original NES Zelda. We anticipate it won’t be long before it has a name.

Despite having a bridge named after it in Breath of the Wild, this very difficult Legend of Zelda boss did not appear in any later games. It looks to be making his debut appearance in a 3D chapter of the franchise.

As you can see, the screenshot confirms that Gleeok will probably return, so all players should prepare to pound their heads in order to destroy him.
