$60 Price Tag Fails to Stop Spider-Man Remastered From Taking Steam by Storm

When it was first announced that PlayStation exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man will be coming to the PC platform, hardcore fans were elated, to say the least. After all, not everyone’s got a console to enjoy the stunning game from Insomniac.

Now that it’s officially slated to arrive next month for all the PC gamers, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered seems to have become a hit already. At least, that’s what the latest report indicates.

The Marvel’s Spider-Man series from Insomniac is the best-selling IP to date for the PS4 and PS5 generations. Both the 2018 blockbuster and its spin-off in Miles Morales have sold over 33 million copies combined. It’s a remarkable figure, especially for a new superhero IP franchise that began just four years ago. Much of this success is also due to the fact that everyone simply loves the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Recently, the specs and features for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered were revealed by PlayStation for the PC. And with that, the game’s price details were also shared for various regions. Not to mention that the game isn’t going to be cheap in any way. In fact, the PC port is coming for a heft cost of $59.99.

But it seems like Spidey fans don’t care about the pocket-burning price at all. It was proven by the recent Steam data showing that pre-orders for the PC port for Spider-Man are climbing up the best-sellers list.

Simply put, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is already one of the best-selling games on the digital store front, Steam. After Blue12’s Stray, the superhero game is currently the third top-selling title, as reported by PushSquare.

The PC version for the former PlayStation exclusive comes out on August 12, 2022. Players can pre-purchase it right now from either Steam or the Epic Games Store.
