Super Mario Bros. (1985)
Super Mario Bros. was released back in 1995 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It shifted the classic single-screen arcade gameplay of Super Mario and featured the iconic side-scrolling platformer levels.

Super Mario Bros is the most iconic game in the series, as it was the first game to feature iconic characters like Bowser and Princess Peach. Players had to fight Gumbas, turtles, and other enemies to reach Bowser and save the Princess.
The Legend of Zelda (1986)
Legend of Zelda was originally named The Hyrule Fantasy: Zelda No Densetsu. The first game was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game followed Link on his journey to find and save Princess Zelda from the evil Ganon while collecting the pieces of the Triforce. The game was a top-down RPG with a revolutionary open-world map!
Metroid (1987)
Metroid is an action-adventure platformer that for the first time in gaming history featured a female lead in an action game. The game follows Samus as she fights Space Pirates to save the parasitic Metroid organisms. These organisms are one of the most dangerous creatures in the universe and Samus is the only one who can keep them from falling into the wrong hands.
Animal Crossing
The original Animal Crossing was released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2001. Animal Crossing presented something very new to the table. The non-linear gameplay and chill, relaxing atmosphere gave the players a sense of coziness like never before.
In Animal Crossing, franchise players have to live in a village of anthropomorphic animals and collect money to pay off their debts (it got a little too real!). The interactions with villagers, exploring the wildlife, and IRL season-based events made Animal Crossing a bright name in the history of Nintendo. The latest installment in the Franchise Animal Crossing: New Horizons is giving the beloved title a much-deserved re-vamp and a modern touch!
Wii Sports

Wii Sports was a sports simulation game that was released back in 2006. It was designed to showcase the motion-sensing capabilities of the Wii Remote. the game consisted of many mini-games simulation different sports.
Even with all its flaws, it was an experience like never before. The players had to use their entire bodies to play the games, giving the immersion of playing actual sports! Wii Sports was a phenomenon that opened doors for many Motion sensor games and in terms was one of the inspirations for the VR games!
