Call of Duty Modern Warfare II was released recently and it seems that the game is not getting a good start. Although fans have been very patient about the game, it seems that the recent crashes have now taken the fun out of its way and developers Infinity Ward has come to realize their mistake too.

With the recent reports of a feature crashing the game for many players, Infinity Ward has taken charge to disable it for an indefinite period of time. And fans are losing their calm over it.

Call of Duty MWII receives backlashes from the fans

In a recent tweet by Call of Duty MWII developers, Infinity Ward announced that they are disabling the attachment tuning until further notice. “We are disabling attachment tuning until further notice to investigate crashes for users with 5 attachments tuned,” they tweeted. “If you currently have a tuned attachment equipped, you will need to unequip and reequip it to use your loadout.”

This has thus attracted some backlash as fans think that the game was already made overcomplicated by the developers by adding so many extra features. One fan wrote, “Figure it out. Y’all overcomplicated every single aspect of call of duty for zero reason.”

Many even started complaining that they have been permanently banned by the game for apparently no reason. This has also gained a lot of traction in the last few hours as fans think that they have been wrongfully banned that too within 48 hours of the release of the game officially.

Some more fan reactions

Apart from the attachment tuning bug, fans are also compliant about other glitches and crashes as well. Some fans even said that the mini-map in the game has lost its purpose as it doesn’t show any enemies, while others complained that the game lagged during multiplayer matches.

It seems as if not just this, the game has other crashes as well and even freezing issues in PlayStation 5. The main issue, though, can be seen mostly during multiplayer matches and match-ups.

Thus, it seems that the troubles for both fans and developers are not going to end anytime soon. Although all someone can hope for now is for these issues to get resolved as soon as possible, so that fans can finally play the game and enjoy it.
