Vividly, it is the company’s first attempt to make such a controller as they previously specialized in creating a single version of their famous Brawler64.

Retro Fighters is a popular controller-producing company known for its N64 design. Fans adore its Brawler64 controller, as it gives them a historic feel. While the franchise has already minted thousands selling their design, they have announced a fresh addition for the same. The company claimed to release a Nintendo Switch version of Brawler64 in 2023. With its release, they wanted to allow gamers to play all their favorite Switch games using a retro controller, taking them back to old times.

As of now, it is confirmed that the controller will be compatible with Nintendo Switch and PC, having three distinct colors at release. They will be Classic Gray, Transparent Blue, and Arctic White. Retro Fighter’s recent announcement has worked well in the community, as they have received a tremendous response from fans. In fact, users have also started a fundraiser on Kickstarter to support the franchise.

To talk a little about its features, the Nintendo Switch controller will have more buttons compared to its original design. It will feature a screenshot, home, and minus buttons, alongside “Swap button” to “switch between button layout and traditional Switch Pro layout.” The controller will also have a Bluetooth feature, so players need not worry about setting up any wired connections.
Looking at the fundraiser, Retro Fighters have also announced extra features at an added price. The franchise promised to feature motion control at $100K and a Gold version of the controller at $200K. While that seems to be a long way, interested users can buy off the original at $45.
