And when it comes to the GTA franchise, there are some interesting examples to remember, just like the recent one featuring none other than American rapper and artist Kanye West.

In case anyone missed to keep track of events, Kanye West just revealed a brief clip of what appears to be a promo for the YZY Gap clothing collection. However, the highlight of the clip is the fact that it’s styled after the GTA games.
Kanye West goes full-on GTA mode in new clothing line promo
As reported by Fader, the ‘Praise God’ hitmaker posted a story on his Instagram (now unavailable) that featured a 56-second video. It had a character dressed up in the attire from West’s YZY Gap clothing collection. Moreover, he could be seen roaming the streets of Shibuya and Shinjuku in Tokyo.

The stunning part of the clip is that the overall movement physics of the character shown in the promo were similar to the characters in the GTA series. The HUDs like health, wanted levels, radar, etc., all appear to be identical to the virtual open-world interface of the games under Rockstar‘s franchise. Fader website also shared a clip that they found on Twitter. It’s the same as the video posted by Kanye West.

As one can see in the clip, from a user named Laflame_World, the aesthetics do match up with GTA’s theme. Moreover, it’s a little shocking to see West making the reference to the YZY Gap line. But that’s not the topic of discussion here at all. It’s the Grand Theft Auto makeover given by him while attracting the eyeballs of many.

Speaking of the open-world saga itself, currently, there’s a lot going on over the internet. Ever since the rumored leak for GTA 6 appeared online, a few days ago, social media users have been busy decoding multiple theories. After the massive incident, Rockstar even issued an official message about the entire situation.

As of now, GTA 6 is yet to receive a confirmed release date or any kind of actual teaser. Several rumors have mentioned that the game might arrive between 2024 and 2025.
