As Musk mentioned earlier this month, Tesla is reportedly working with Valve to introduce the popular video game distribution platform to Tesla cars. According to him, an announcement may come as early as next month! As of now, Tesla cars support classic free-to-play games like Beach Buggy Racing 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog. One can also access other basic games like Solitaire and Chess.

In a tweet, today, Elon Musk shared his plan for a bizarre situation. According to him, if the Tesla Gigafactory in Texas starts producing video game merchandise, there should be two groups addressing different sets of genres. In fact, Musk aims to attract and motivate all kinds of gamers to come to the factory!

“If we’re gonna do video game stuff at the Texas Giga Factory, perhaps one could work in the more cartoonish franchises merchandise (Super Mario, Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog) while another group works on the other more realistic game franchises merchandise (God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Elden Ring),” his tweet read.
