On November 9, 2021, Amouranth explained her decision of buying a gas station that cost her “$4 million dollars, or -$110,000 depending on how you look at it.,” as told by her through a series of tweets. Moreover, she went on to describe the basis of her decision. However, in the same month, she posted another tweet regarding her retirement from the streaming world.

On November 25, 2021, in a Twitter thread, she said, “I basically plan to grind it out as long and as hard as I can until either it doesn’t make sense anymore, or at some point the passive income > active income.”

Furthermore, she continued, “This makes the most sense, this is the way to MAXIMIZE impact. Because passive income will only overtake active income in the scenario that i fall off a lot, OR my investments compound to the point of dwarfing anything I do actively (stream, 0F, etc)”
