$25 Million Man KSI Reveals He Sees a Reflection of His Younger Self in IShowSpeed

Olajide Olayinka Williams aka KSI on the internet is a widely known name. From content creation to Boxing, KSI has done it all. His hilarious comedic sense and infectious laughs won the hearts of millions of subscribers. But he wasn’t always so collected and mature. Instead, at the beginning of his career, he was more like the young internet sensation IShowSpeed. 

Darren Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed is an American Youtuber. He is known for his extravagant, peculiar, hot-headed, and ostentatious personality on his gaming and entertainment live streams. His overwhelming personality and humorous shenanigans “abled him to achieve the milestone of 1 million subscribers in a matter of days back in 2021. The young YouTuber’s energy and craziness remind the veteran KSI about his earlier days.  

KSI sees his younger self in IShowSpeed

KSI recently made a reaction video on his second channel named “CLIPS THAT MADE *ISHOWSPEED* FAMOUS!” In the video, KSI reacted to some of the clips that gave IShowSpeed traction.

The clips were full of Darren’s signature shenanigans and craziness. While looking at the young creator doing all kinds of wacky stuff, KSI is reminiscent of his younger self. He said, “I definitely see myself in him” and then added “I definitely see my younger self in him,” clarifying that in his old days he was much wackier, just like Darren.

No more than just eight years ago, JJ could be seen doing wacky videos being loud and obnoxious like his “CROSSBAR CHALLENGE!!!!!” and “IF KFC CLOSED DOWN”. At this time, KSI was the mirror image of IShowSpeed. His videos were filled with hilarious improv jokes, Slapstick comedy, and lots of screaming!

It was only obvious that seeing someone like IShowSpeed succeed in the industry tingled the nostalgic bones of JJ. For the entire reaction video, KSI kept on laughing and had a good time. Almost as if he was seeing himself in from the past.  

What is KSI’s advice to IShowSpeed? 

While watching the video, he was astounded and also very proud to see the young Darren doing all kinds of silly things. He loved that he was actually being himself and entertaining his fans. He said, “Yeah bro just keep being yourself and change when you need to.” Though JJ wants Darren to grow in the future, he also wants him to retain this side of him that makes him who he is, as JJ adds, “never lose that part of yourself that makes you you.”
