Apparently, this channel revealed a demake for Stray, while reimagining it as a Nintendo Game Boy classic. Not to mention that this unexpected version looks absolutely adorable to say the least.
Stray becomes a Nintendo Game Boy title from 1990s
Without a doubt, Stray can be called the best indie video game of the year. Upon its launch in July, it took the internet by storm, as fans were super impressed with this title from Annapurna Interactive. In this game, players take on the role of a cat who unfortunately ends up being in a walled city, devoid of humans and even animals. She then tries to escape from there with the help of a drone companion in B-12.
While the 2022 hit is already phenomenal, it would have been a surprise for the retro gamers in case it released during the classic era of the 1990s. Well, now the retro game lovers have a chance of witnessing Stray as a blast from the past!

A widely known YouTube channel, 64 Bits, recently shared a mesmerizing video on the streaming platform. It reimagines Stray as a Nintendo Game Boy title from three decades ago. The best thing about this demake version of the 2022 blockbuster is that it fits the aesthetic in the most adorable and perfect manner.

The demake shows the cat trying to make her way through various obstacles, in green-tinted 8-bit graphics. That’s because the original Nintendo Game Boy titles used to be like that in the 1990s.
