LucasArts developed this title as part of its ‘The Force Unleashed’ project. Originally it made its way to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and iOS in 2008. Going by the story, then it’s definitely a different take on the Star Wars saga. Because it gives the players an opportunity to be the iconic antagonist Darth Vader himself, portraying the role of a father to his son.

Probably the biggest USP of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is its immense focus on destruction. Simply put, the way the animations for enemy defeats are designed is quite impressive. Granted, it’s a decade-old game at the moment, but the makers really instilled a lot of potential in this one.

It also received mostly mixed to positive reviews from the critics. On Metacritic, the game is still having a decent score of 71 percent.

And now it’s available for Nintendo Switch users as well, following a recent debut on the eShop. Aspyr made the current offering and is an enhanced remaster of the classic Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Wii version.
