MrBeast acquaints the viewers with people who suffer from blindness and blurred vision. He promises to reduce the total number by 1,000 globally. The surgeon informed Jimmy of the fact that half of the affected people can be cured with just a 10-minute surgery. In the surgery, the doctors vacuum out the clouded lens and replace it with an artificial lens, as told by Jimmy.
With that, Jimmy kickstarts his mission to cure 1,000 blind people. As more people got cured, the video became more wholesome. The first reactions of people seeing clearly soothe the viewers. From happy smiles to squeezing-hard hugs, people thanked and blessed MrBeast.
A person admitted seeing his watch for the first time. Another person got a chance to see his son clearly. More so, a patient folded their spectacles for good since she didn’t need them.
A person had been out of work for three months due to his blurred vision. He couldn’t read the eye chart, which stated, “You just won $10,000.” Nevertheless, after the surgery, the person was delighted to see the eye chart clearly and received the $10,000 happily.
Jimmy gives back the people parts of their lives that had been lost
As the video progressed, MrBeast stated his motivation for making the video, which was to restore aspects of one’s life that had been lost due to blindness.
He introduced two people, Jeremiah and Satchel. The former had been blind in his right eye since birth, and his surgery had a 50/50 chance of succeeding due to cataracts. The latter had poor vision from birth and almost lost his vision in a go-karting accident.
Cut short to post-surgery, Jeremiah admitted to seeing more clearly and even got $50,000 as a high-school graduation gift. As for Satchel, he admitted to seeing no blurriness, and three weeks later, MrBeast met him to gift him a brand-new Tesla. He even accompanied him on his first-ever drive on a short track. Thereby, filling the life of the people with cheerful smiles. But the mission was not over, yet.
MrBeast then took this mission overseas to cure blindness globally and completed his mission of curing 1,000 people. One can see the wholesome video below:
