On May 2, 2023, Call Of Duty’s official social media handles revealed a mystery operator. And well, the news broke out like a storm as it looked like a basketball player’s shadow making its debut. The franchise hoped for the name to stay anonymous until release as the hype was mad. Still, they placed a small hint that instantly grabbed the attention of a handful of eagle-eyed fans. 

Soon enough, the community added two plus two, coming down to the conclusion of Kevin Durant featuring in the game. For those uninitiated, the image featured a shadow of an operator landing in Warzone with a basketball in his hand. And one could see a building at a distance that read “Easy Money Sniper,” Kevin Durant’s nickname. Moreover, his Instagram username helped to conclude the theory as the 2x NBA Champ ran an account under the same name. Quite fascinating, right? Well, there’s more to it.

Some avid leakers have also posted dedicated Tweets about this topic, revealing the possibility of a few more skins. Apparently, they believe TimTheTatMan, Nickmercs, and Nikto will also get a feature soon. But for now, Call Of Duty has made no claims, making these just rumors surfacing on the internet.

Last but not least, Kevin Durant’s cosmetics will also feature on Warzone Mobile, one of the latest additions to the franchise. And for the rumors on the internet, it is safe enough to say that they might get the exclusive. After all, Nick and Tim have contributed enough to the game.
