Many fans know that NBA Superstar LeBron James loves to play video games in his free time. From the start, he has been an avid gamer, with images of his college days being proof of it. However, the NBA star has not limited himself to just playing the games. He has also become a part of their world. He recently announced a collaboration with PlayStation which will result in a limited edition PS5 bundle.

During the interview for this limited edition bundle, LeBron James decided to switch between PlayStation fandoms. Fans know him and his son for being fans of God of War: Ragnarok. However, in the interview, James switched sides to another PlayStation exclusive.

In the interview, James was asked, “What’s your favorite PlayStation exclusive franchise?” Fans believed that James would pick God of War as he has been actively involved in the hype for its latest title. However, James gave a shocking reply stating, “I would definitely say Spider-Man. Being a fan of the Marvel world and things of that nature, the level you can play that game at is very fun to play.”

But a year ago LeBron James was rooting for God of War: Ragnarok. Furthermore, James was actively involved in the promotion of the title, even appearing in a promotional trailer for it. He also cosplayed as Kratos for the latest Santa Monica title. With his deep-rooted love for the God of War franchise, fans were expecting him to pick the title over all others.

However, fans are not blaming James for picking Spider-Man. The Insomniac Games title is currently bringing forward a sequel that is guaranteed to be a Game of the Year contender before release. The hype built around the game might have surely attracted the NBA star too, who wants to try the game himself.

LeBron James also revealed he is currently enjoying playing EA Sports’ Madden 24. However, this might soon change when Spider-Man 2 drops on October 20.
