And for the past 15 years (sometimes considered even more due to its predecessors), MLB The Show video game has made the greatest of Baseball players the icon in their game covers. This time it is Jazz Chisholm Jr., the outstanding center fielder, and second baseman for the Miami Marlins who also happens to be the first player from the Bahamas to get this recognition.

As the critically and financially successful MLB game prepares for its release, it appears that fans are growing more excited by the day, eager to play as their favorite Baseball heroes and hit their first home run.

The Miami Marlins’ budding star, Jazz Chisholm Jr., has just achieved a career milestone by being named the cover athlete for the upcoming video game MLB The Show 23. This recognition of his talent and potential has left the 24-year-old center fielder beaming with joy and gratitude.

Chisholm expressed his excitement, stating that this was a dream come true and a bucket list item that he never expected to check off so soon. He said, “It’s just the start, it’s just one of these things that you can check off your bucket list and be like, ‘Bro, I’m with some great people right here.’ Most of these guys are gonna be Hall of Famers at the end of their career. So it’s pretty sick.”

In addition to his accomplishment in Major League Baseball, Chisholm is a member of Great Britain’s national baseball squad. He represented Great Britain in the 2017 World Baseball Classic and has indicated that he will do so again in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The event will take place from March 8 to 21 in Taiwan, Tokyo, Miami, and Phoenix, allowing Chisholm the opportunity to showcase his talents on a global scale.
