After being pushed to the side, the assaulter was contained by Speed’s bodyguard. They think that the man that assaulted him might be a rival fan.

Speed advised to get security by Adin Ross

Two days before the assault took place, Adin Ross had advised Speed to get security, after his own experience being mugged. At the time, Speed had replied by saying, “I don’t go outside.” It seems like Speed listened to Ross after all and did keep some security around, who proved to be crucial in defusing the situation.

This is not the first time Speed has needed security at a football stadium. Late last year when Speed went to the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar, stadium officials formed a human chain around him as fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the streamer.
