IShowSpeed has shocked the world as his music has reached a height that is challenging even the official anthems of World Cup 2022. The manager of MrBeast has shared interesting information about the standings of all the official songs released by the World Cup this year vs Speed’s fan music.

Darren Watkins Jr aka IShowSpeed is an American YouTuber and Streamer. Besides creating content online, he is known for his skill in the IRL sports of soccer and rapping. Darren is a songwriter, currently signed by Warner Records.
IShowSpeed has many accolades in the music industry. His song named ‘Shake’ reached 156Million+ on YouTube and has topped many charts. His other song “Ronaldo [SEWEY]” which he dedicated to his favorite soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, garnered a lot of attention from the community.
IShowSpeed song challenges official FIFA anthems
On November 5, 2022, IShowSpeed uploaded a song named “World Cup” which was his own tribute to the ongoing world tournament. In the song, Darren gave personal homages to each competing team (and also some teams that didn’t make it to the world stage). He also expressed his love for all the legendary players, especially and obviously Ronaldo.

But maybe even Darren couldn’t believe how successful his music was going to be. CEO of Night media and talent manager of MrBeast, Reed Duchscher shared a post on his official LinkedIn Page. In the post, he said, “When you search “World Cup” on YouTube today you’re bound to see IShowSpeed’s song World Cup.”

The caption was followed by the above graphic. It shows that Darren’s Song has successfully surpassed the official FIFA theme (8 Million views) and “Light the Sky” World Cup anthem (23 Million views). Darren’s song is currently sitting at 37 Million+ views on the website, which is just a little less than other World Cup 2022 anthems, Dreamers (42 million views) and Tukoh Taka (46 Million) and has almost a 10 million views gap with Haya Haya (54 Million views).

After a very controversial past, and getting permanently banned from Twitch, IShowSpeed is finally seeing a new wave of appreciation for his content. He gained a lot of new fans in the past few years and made friends with some of the top content creators on the platform, such as KSI and MrBeast. He is even nominated for two awards in the upcoming Streamy Awards 2022.
