One of the biggest debates in the gaming scene is what is better; a controller or keyboard and mouse. The young McLaren Formula One prodigy Lando Norris shared what he prefers to use while gaming, as he proved he is a ‘big gamer’ during an interview with GQ Sports.

Lando Norris even started streaming video games on Twitch when F1 racing was paused during the global pandemic. But that wasn’t the end of Norris’ venture into the gaming scene, as he started an eSports organization, Team Quadrant. Further, Norris loves video games so much that he never travels without his gaming equipment.

Norris further shared that he doesn’t use controllers, instead sticks with his keyboard and mouse. He explained the reason behind it, “Now that disappoints a lot of people, but I grew up only ever really using a steering wheel rather than ever a controller. So with racing and everything, growing up on the PlayStation, I always use a steering wheel and pedals, and whatever.”

The McLaren prodigy then shared he isn’t good with controllers. But he has to use them for playing games like Call of Duty and FIFA. The 24-year-old said, “I love playing those games.” Then the F1 driver further shed light that the controller he uses is from his brand that was made in association with Scuf.

Lando Norris recently collaborated with the ex-eSports professional and Twitch streamer Shroud. The Canadian participated in the Logitech G Challenge 2022, a competition for racing simulator players. But Shroud wasn’t good with racing simulations, so he had to call Norris to help him. Norris also praised Shroud in the stream, as his racing skills were pretty good for a person without a driving license.
