Apex Legends is one of the most popular FPS titles in the world. The game came out in 2019 but was only limited to PlayStation, PC, and Xbox.
Even though this sums up every possible platform, the game still lagged on mobile. Fans constantly questioned this, as they wanted to enjoy the run and gun title on smaller screens.

EA took three years to respond to the fans’ cries but finally released the game for mobile on May 17, 2022. The game ranked first in the list of most downloaded games on iOS, becoming a great achievement for the franchise. But, players soon found complications with the game’s release as the title limited the in-game options.
Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 might become the game-changer for EA!
During Season one of Apex Legends mobile, fans were disappointed with the franchise as they had limited the in-game options. They compared it to the PC version, having a large variety of legends to choose from. Although, they failed to understand that EA released the game in a similar format as it first came out on PC. For those in the dark, the PC version of Apex first released with in-game legends such as Bangalore, Bloodhound, Lifeline, Gibraltar, Wraith, and Octane. This was the same case with Apex Legends mobile, as they introduced similar legends plus a new one.
The addition of Fade became exclusive, as the PC world never had time to play with the character. Eventually, the season became a great success as the game ranked on top in the list of most downloaded games on iOS. Looking at this, EA hinted at a classic release of a translocating thief. They did it through their Diamonds in the snow event during the last week of season one.

So, if you’re still wondering who we’re referring to, it’s Loba. She was first featured in Season 5 of Apex Legends on PC and became one of the most played characters in the game. Her massive ability to put down an entire market of loot, the ‘ Black Market, ‘ was the sole reason people loved her. It was an important ability for competitive players, as they could get access to loot during under-pressure moments.
Will EA introduce a competitive side to their mobile version?
This exciting update by EA has a game-changing potential as it raises important questions like will there be a competitive side of Apex post-season 2 and whether players will have to earn points to get this character.
