The YouTuber-turned-boxer Olajide “JJ” Olatunji aka KSI, is one of the most influential and popular YouTubers of the present generation. The British content creator started as a gaming YouTuber, but as the years passed, JJ trod a long path, reaching a peak where he became the CEO of the boxing company, Misfits Boxing.  

JJ’s amazing journey to revitalize his image and explore the exciting yet challenging field of boxing got the boost when his beef with his current friend and business partner, Logan Paul, inflated into an all-hands brawl in the ring. Rivals-turned-friends, Logan, and KSI faced each other in the ring for the first time. And since then the former’s boxing journey has been nothing less than a spectacle

Massive collaboration announcement between Misfit Boxing and DAZN Boxing

The first match ended in a draw between KSI and Logan. To set the scores once for and all, both continent creators clashed again in the ring, in 2019. This time, JJ came out victorious as he managed to beat the senior Paul brother with a split decision. This win prompted an impressive career for KSI in the world of boxing.

After tasting the sweet victory, KSI went on to face many other opponents. Back in 2021, JJ announced that he will be collaborating with Wasserman Promotions to promote his boxing promotional company, Misfit boxing. In this event, the main event was determined to be KSI vs Alex Wassabi, but later it was announced Swarmz to take Wassabi’s place and face KSI.

This fight, including the highly anticipated Logan Paul vs KSI, was in collaboration with DAZN Boxing, who was the official distributor of the match. The series was titled “MF x DAZN: X series”. And now, after a year, Misfit Boxing and DAZN are finally collaborating once again for another series of exhilarating matches. Including a main event match between KSI vs Temper on January 14th, 2023. 

But that’s not it. JJ in a recent tweet has announced that Misfit Boxing is about to sign in a 5-year partnership contract with DAZN Boxing, promising exciting new things for Misfit Boxing. He tweeted, “It’s my absolute pleasure to announce that Misfits Boxing now has a 5 year partnership deal with @DAZNBoxing. It’s always been about the long term goal and I’m so glad it’s finally coming into fruition. This is the start of many great things for @MisfitsBoxing”
