In a recent Tweet, KSI shared his point of view on this whole controversy. He conveyed how hard he worked on training for this fight. The feeling of achieving victory over his opponent in front of his fans was the driving force for the Sidemen member. But this win doesn’t feel like one to him now. Repainting the moments leading up to the controversial blow, KSI said Fournier “was pretty much out on his feet” when he handed an overhand. Following this, he went for a short right hook but unfortunately, Fournier grabbed him and fell towards him. But this explanation has still not satiated many critics, who are demanding KSI’s disqualification.
KSI has further given his take on the situation, stating his disappointment over this matter. “I’m gutted that it’s not as clean a win as I wanted and it feels like it diminishes my hard work with my trainers,” said the CEO of Misfits Boxing.
