God of War Shares An Incredibly Goofy Commercial On Fatherhood Featuring Ben Stiller, LeBron James, John Travolta And Their Children

Advertisements are a creative medium to showcase a brilliantly crafted product to millions of people worldwide. And what can be a better way than talking about fatherhood along with Ben Stiller, LeBron James, and John Travolta in a God of War commercial?

This advertisement has made a really interesting take on the father-son duo of Kratos and Atreus, as Ben Stiller discusses the concepts of children growing up in their teenage years and the care of a father for them.

A goofy but heart-warming commercial by PlayStation

In the recent commercial for PlayStation for God of War Ragnarok, the American actors alongside Basketball legend made for a goofy trio, discussing parenthood in the presence of their children. This was even goofier as in the commercial fans can witness Ben Stiller cosplaying as Kratos equipped with a mini-Leviathan Axe in his hand.

While Stiller talks about being inspired by Kratos and Atreus giving parental advice to LeBron James and John Travolta, the latter can be seen taking notes on them. “I mean, the God of War dynamic plays out in every parent-child relationship,” says Ben Stiller. “When that clicked for me, I picked up my Leviathan axe and felt truly close to my son for the first time.”

Although it is also to be noted that LeBron James got roasted by Ben Stiller at many points during the commercial as well. It was although, a few jokes here and there, made for some really hilarious expressions by the Basketball legend.

The God of War commercial is grabbing a lot of attention

As God of War Ragnarok is releasing soon, it seems that the commercial has done a good job of grabbing the attention of fans. While some were hyped by the fact that God of War really chose a clever way to advertise their game, some pointed out the excellent performance by John Travolta.

While others said that they want a Ben Stiller skin for God of War Ragnarok. It was also a fact that some appreciated the fun and humor that the company and the makers showed during the advertisement.
